Hi, I'm Finlay.
I'm a freelance product and podcast strategist living in Salzburg. I like building the things that let good stories happen: the tools, the campaigns, the podcast feeds, and the systems and strategy nobody sees.
What I do
Most of my work sits somewhere between product, marketing and audio:
- Product and AI Prototyping: turning ideas into working tools
- Brand and Digital Marketing Campaigns: from strategy to delivery
- Podcast Strategy: platform set-up, production, launch & growth
Where I've been
For seven years I was at Red Bull Media House, where I worked on more than 100 global digital campaigns, from the first brief to launch day in dozens of markets. There's more about that on my LinkedIn.
Before that I was a business analyst intern at The Walt Disney Company in London (2017–18), a researcher and runner on CBeebies at the BBC (2016), and a student at the University of Sheffield, where I studied Information Technology Management for Business (2015–19).
On the side
I made over 100 episodes of One of One, a podcast about new music. I'm building Polycast, an app for learning languages through real podcasts. And I'm working on a new podcast about letting go of expectations and following what brings you joy.
